Sherri Edwards, The Resource Maximizer’s Principal, has held management, consulting and training positions in local and international, service driven companies and organizations for 20 years. She offers coaching for individuals pursuing a career change, by design or through downsizing, merger, or returning from an extended absence from the workplace. Her clients learn how to identify their workplace demand and value, and how to market themselves effectively to obtain the type of work that fuels their passions and allows them to live their dreams. In addition to providing outplacement classes for private employers, Sherri facilitates the job search portion of the Transition Assistance Program for military personnel returning to civilian employment. She also provides communications-training classes for the USDA Graduate School, and continuing education classes covering effective communication, strategic networking, managing multiple commitments and goal setting for Bellevue Community College. Sherri has made guest appearances to discuss career related topics on KCPQ 13 Fox News “This Morning”, and has presented at job fairs for over ten years.
Sherri is a member of the American Society for Training & Development, the Puget Sound Career Development Association, the Employment Council, the Washington State Professional Technical Diversity Network, and the Puget Sound Diversity Network. Sherri is also the former Chairperson, current Vice Chair of the Advisory Committee for the Information Technology Department at Renton Community College.
